RMHC Toronto School is available for school-aged patients and siblings of patients staying at the House.

RMHC Toronto School is a private school supported by donations to RMHC Toronto. There is no cost to attend.

RMHC Toronto School educates students who come to us from across Canada and around the world. Although it is not possible to cover all of the provincial and national standards for each student, every effort is made to cover the core curriculum expectations so students can reintegrate smoothly when they return home.

For students in Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8, lessons are based on the Ontario Curriculum and inspired by the interests of the school’s students. A majority of subjects on Ontario Report Cards are taught at RMHC Toronto School.

Students in Grades 9 to 12 work on completing coursework to obtain Ontario secondary school credits. Short-term students complete work sent from their hometown schools. Long-term students access credits through the Independent Learning Centre of Ontario, or e-learning platforms.

RMHC Toronto School provides full-day schooling weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 students. Tutoring services are provided to Grade 9-12 students weekdays from 1 to 3 p.m.

School is available weekdays from September to June with a two-week break in December and a one-week break in March. Professional Development days are interspersed throughout the school year.
