Catherine is a highly motivated leader with over 25 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector. She is an innovative and contagious mission-based fundraiser who builds strong internal and external relationships to engage, motivate and empower stakeholders to consistently meet fundraising goals.
Catherine’s most recent role has been Executive Director at Women’s Centre of York Region. Prior to that, Catherine held leadership roles with Kidney Cancer Canada and Lupus Canada. Bringing a wide range of fund development experience to her role, Catherine has a track record of success in digital fundraising, signature events, foundation grants, major gifts, individual giving, corporate and sustaining partnership programs, and direct mail. In 2005, Catherine’s nephew Kyle was diagnosed with neuroblastoma and received treatment at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto. In 2007, he relapsed and beat the odds and is now a healthy 16-year-old. Spending countless hours at SickKids and staying with Kyle through his bone marrow transplant, Catherine met many families who were separated because of illness and treatment. That experience enhances her passion for the impact RMHC Toronto has on families.
